Closure of Agricultural Research Service Facility.—The Secretary of Agriculture may close the Agricultural Research Service Federal laboratory located at 4279 East Mount Hope Road, East Lansing, Michigan once operations have ceased and ongoing research missions are, or will be, relocated to a different facility. Conveyance Authority.—With respect to the Agricultural Research Service facility to be closed pursuant to subsection (a), the Secretary of Agriculture may convey, with or without consideration, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to any real property, including improvements and equipment thereon, of the facility, to a land grant college or university (as defined in section 1404(13) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3103(13) ) that previously owned that parcel of real property.
