Section 437(f)(8)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 629g(f)(8)(A) ) is amended— by striking this subsection, and inserting the Regional Partnership Grants Reauthorization Act of 2024, ; by inserting child permanency, reunification, re-entry into care, before parental recovery ; and by inserting to serve families with substance use disorder including those that are over-represented in foster care, difficult to place, or have disproportionately low permanency rates after family well-being .
