The Director of the Office of Management and Budget shall revise the guidance to Federal agencies by the Office on reporting Federal awards to clarify— the requirement for award description entries to include sufficient information to convey the scope and purpose of the award; and requirements for validating and documenting agency award data submitted by Federal agencies. The Director of the Office of Management and Budget shall include information on the city in which work is performed in the public reporting of the completeness of agency data submissions by the Office.
In this section, the terms Federal agency and Federal award have the meanings given those terms in section 2(a) of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 ( Public Law 109–282 ; 31 U.S.C. 6101 note), as amended by this Act.
