Section 7 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2016 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: In this subsection, the term covered person means a person who— is a member of a household that receives benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program; and owns or is a member of a household in which another member owns a retail food store that is authorized to accept and redeem benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program under section 9. A covered person shall not redeem benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program at a retail food store owned by the covered person or a member of the household of the covered person. .
