Section 302 of the Bill Emerson Humanitarian Trust Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1736f–1 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(2)(B)(i), by striking 2023 each place it appears and inserting 2029 ; by amending the matter preceding subclause
(I)of subsection (c)(1)(B)(i) to read as follows: Without undue delay, any funds or commodities held in the trust may be released by the Secretary, which shall be informed by information provided by the Administrator regarding the ongoing programs of the Administrator, to provide food, and cover any associated costs, under title II of the Food for Peace Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1721 et seq. )— ; in subsection (c)(1)(C), by striking the Administrator and inserting the Secretary ; in subsection (f)(2)(A), by inserting by the Secretary after reimbursed ; and in subsection (h), by striking 2023 each place it appears and inserting 2029 .
