Section 407 of the Food for Peace Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1736a ) is amended— by amending subsection (c)(1) to read as follows: The Administrator shall transfer, arrange for the transportation, and take other steps necessary to make available agricultural commodities to be provided under title II and title III. ; in subsection (c)(4)(A), by striking 2023 each place it appears and inserting 2029 ; in subsection (f)(2)— by striking subparagraph (I); by amending subparagraph
(H)to read as follows: A statement of the amount of funds provided to each eligible organization that received assistance under this Act and the manner in which those funds were used, including whether such use was for commodity transportation or administrative costs. ; by redesignating subparagraphs
(E)through
(H)(as amended) as subparagraphs
(F)through (I), respectively; and by inserting after subparagraph
(D)the following new subparagraph: An assessment of activities specifically targeting women and girls and the impact of those activities in addressing the unique needs of women and girls. ; and by striking subsection (f)(3).
