Section 3456 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: establish and maintain performance incentives for contracting officers and program managers that request support described in subsection (b)(1)(A). ; and in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by inserting or program manager after contracting officer ; and in paragraph (2), by inserting or program manager (as applicable) after contracting officer each place it appears.
