Sec. 815. Clarification of other transaction authority for facility repair

Section 4022(i)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subparagraph (A), by striking except for projects carried out for the purpose of repairing a facility, ; by inserting
(A)before In carrying out ; by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)as clauses
(i)and (ii), respectively; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: The requirements of this paragraph shall not apply to projects carried out for the purpose of repairing a facility. . This section and the amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to a transaction for a prototype project under section 4022(i) of title 10, United States Code, entered into on or after the date of the enactment of this section.
