Section 546(d) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ; 10 U.S.C. 520 note) is amended— by redesignating paragraph

(4)as paragraph (6); and by inserting, after paragraph (3), the following new paragraphs: The determination of the Secretary regarding the effectiveness of the preparatory course. Recommendations of the Secretary regarding— how to improve the preparatory course; whether to expand the preparatory course. .
