The Secretary of Defense may reimburse an individual who applies to join a covered Armed Force for costs incurred by such individual for a medical appointment required for military entrance processing. The maximum amount an individual may be reimbursed under this section is $100. In this section, the term covered Armed Force means the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Space Force.
