None of the funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act may be used to provide funding to support, directly or indirectly— the Wuhan Institute of Virology located in the City of Wuhan in the People’s Republic of China; the EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.; any laboratory owned or controlled by the government of the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Cuba, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela under the regime of Nicolas Maduro Moros, or any other country determined by the Secretary of State to be a foreign adversary; or gain-of-function research of concern.
