Section 1533(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( Public Law 117–263 ; 10 U.S.C. 167b note) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than September 30, 2024, the Secretary shall submit to congressional defense committees the study required in subsection
(a)and any supporting analyses conducted by other entities, including federally funded research and development centers. .
