Sec. 1079. Plan for additional skill identifiers for Army Mountain Warfare School

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Army shall develop and implement a plan to establish each of the following: Additional skill identifiers for the following courses at the Army Mountain Warfare School: Advanced Military Mountaineer Course (Summer). Advanced Military Mountaineer Course (Winter). Rough Terrain Evacuation Course. Mountain Planner Course. Mountain Rifleman Course. New skill identifiers for officers and warrant officers who complete the Basic Military Mountaineer Course and the Mountain Planner Course.
Not later than 30 days after the date on which the Secretary completes the plan under subsection (a), the Secretary shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on the plan and the implementation of the plan.
