Sec. 1726. Extension of report on islamic revolutionary guard corps-affiliated operatives abroad

Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter for a period of 4 years, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report that includes a detailed description of— all Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated operatives serving in diplomatic or consular roles abroad; and the ways in which the Department of State and the Department of Defense are working with partner countries to inform them of the threat posed by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated officials serving in diplomatic or consular roles in third party countries.
The report required under subsection
(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form but may contain a classified annex. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives.
