Sec. 338. Encouragement of more generous leave policies

Nothing in this subtitle shall be construed— to discourage employers from adopting or retaining leave policies more generous than policies that comply with the requirements of this subtitle; or to discourage or prevent an employer from adopting a contract, collective bargaining agreement, or employment benefit program or plan that provides greater right or benefits to covered direct care professionals than the rights established under this subtitle.
