Section 11269 of the Don Young Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2022 ( Public Law 117–263 ) is— transferred to appear at the end of subchapter II of chapter 5 of title 14, United States Code; redesignated as section 529; and amended— by striking the section enumerator and heading and inserting the following: ; by striking Not later than and inserting the following: Not later than ; by inserting drug and before migrant interdictions ; and by adding at the end the following: In making information about interdictions publicly available under subsection (a), the Commandant shall include a description of the following:
The number of incidents in which drugs were interdicted, the amount and type of drugs interdicted, and the Coast Guard sectors and geographic areas of responsibility in which such incidents occurred. The number of incidents in which migrants were interdicted, the number of migrants interdicted, and the Coast Guard sectors and geographic areas of responsibility in which such incidents occurred. . The analysis for chapter 5 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 528 the following: 529.
Public availability of information on monthly drug and migrant interdictions. . The table of sections in section 11001(b) of the Don Young Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2022 (division K of Public Law 117–263 ) is amended by striking the item relating to section 11269.
