Section 104 of the Defense Production Act of 1950 ( 50 U.S.C. 4514 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The authorities provided under this title and title III may not be used with respect to— electric vehicles; electric vehicle batteries; electric vehicle charging stations or other electric vehicle infrastructure; or obtaining critical minerals that will be used for the manufacturing of any item described under paragraph (1), (2), or (3). .
