The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall continue to carry out the FHA affordable rental housing financing partnership with the Federal Financing Bank, under which such Bank provides financing for loans insured under the FHA Multifamily Risk-Sharing Program under section 542 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 ( 12 U.S.C. 1707 ), and may enter into such new commitments under such program during fiscal year 2024 and fiscal years thereafter, subject to the overall limitations provided in this Act on new commitments to guarantee loans insured under the General and Special Risk Insurance Funds, as authorized by sections 238 and 519 of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. 1715z–3 and 1735c).
