Part III of the Federal Power Act ( 16 U.S.C. 825 et seq. ) is amended by inserting after section 317 the following: The Commission may establish an office, to be known as the Office of Transmission, to— coordinate all matters of the Commission relating to the transmission of electric energy, as the Commission determines appropriate; and carry out the responsibilities of the Commission under section 216, 224, 225, 226, 227, 228, and 229, in coordination with the Office of Energy Projects of the Commission. .
