Section 9001(b) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act ( Public Law 116–9 ) is amended— in paragraph (2)(B), by striking during the period beginning on September 1 and ending on August 31 of the following year and inserting for a 12-month period that begins on a date determined by the Secretaries ; and in paragraph (5), by striking the date that is 7 years after the date of enactment of this Act and inserting September 30, 2031 .
