In addition to amounts otherwise provided by section 101, for Federal Emergency Management Agency—Disaster Relief Fund , there is appropriated $16,000,000,000, for an additional amount for fiscal year 2024, to remain available until expended, of which $2,000,000 shall be transferred to Office of the Inspector General—Operations and Support for audits and investigations of activities funded under Federal Emergency Management Agency—Disaster Relief Fund and $15,500,000,000 shall be for major disasters declared pursuant to the Robert T.
Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq. ): Provided , That such amount is designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.
