Sec. 428. Updating dollar limit for mandatory distributions

Section 203(e)(1) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and sections 401(a)(31)(B)(ii) and 411(a)(11)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 are each amended by striking $5,000 and inserting $7,000 . The amendments made by this section shall apply to distributions made after December 31, 2022.
