Section 401(a)(1)(A) of the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 ( Public Law 117–128 ) is amended by striking September 30, 2023 and inserting September 30, 2024 . Amounts provided by this section are designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided , That such amounts shall be available only if the President designates such amount as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A).
