Section 312(a) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1942(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (9)(B)(ii), by striking or at the end; in paragraph (10), by striking the period and inserting ; or ; and by adding the following: supporting projects that facilitate the development of plant protein products and connect rural markets and economies. . Section 343(a) of such Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1991(a) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The term plant protein product has the meaning given the term in section 223 of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994. .
