Sec. 2842. Assistance for public infrastructure projects and services

Section 2391(b)(5)(B) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in the matter preceding clause (i), by inserting or local government after a State ; in clause (ii), by striking and at the end; in clause (iii), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: to support public infrastructure projects and services that enhance the capabilities and resilience of the defense industrial base and the defense industrial base workers, if the Secretary determines such support will improve operations of the Department of Defense. .
