Section 251A(6)(D) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 (901a(6)(D)) is amended— in clause (i), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in clause (ii), by striking second 6 months in which such order is effective for such fiscal year, the payment reduction shall be 0 percent. and inserting 2 month period beginning on the day after the last day of the period described in clause
(i)in which such order is effective for such fiscal year, the payment reduction shall be 1.5 percent; and ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: with respect to the last 4 months in which such order is effective for such fiscal year, the payment reduction shall be 0 percent. .
