Notwithstanding section 286(n) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1356(n) ), the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services may use not more than $5,000 of the amounts deposited in the Immigration Examinations Fee Account for official reception and representation expenses in fiscal year 2024.
