There is hereby appropriated $2,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2025, for a Bison Production and Marketing Grant Program that the Agricultural Marketing Service shall develop and maintain: That this program shall be similar, as determined by the Secretary, to the Sheep Production and Marketing Grant Program the Department of Agriculture currently maintains pursuant to section 209(c) of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 ( Provided, 7 U.S.C. 1627a(c) ), and shall prioritize grants to national non-profits and federally chartered Tribal organizations that have expertise in bison production or marketing.
