Sec. 308. Establishing a comprehensive web-based aviation resource center

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall partner with the National Center for the Advancement of Aerospace (in this section referred to as the Center ) to establish a high-quality, web-based resource center that provides stream-lined public access to information sources on the following: Aviation pathway programs and professional development opportunities. Aviation apprenticeship, scholarship, and internship programs.
Aviation-related curricula and resources about aviation occupations and career pathways developed for students, teachers, and guidance counselors at all levels of education. Aviation industry organizations. In carrying out subsection (a)(3), the Administrator and the Executive Director of the Center, in partnership with museums, nonprofit organizations, and commercial entities, shall, to the maximum extent practicable, leverage field and regional offices of the Federal Aviation Administration, the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, the William J.
Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace, Air Transportation Centers of Excellence, and the Aviation and Space Education program of the Federal Aviation Administration to develop an array of educational and informative aviation-related educational activities and materials for students of varying ages and levels of education to use in the classroom, for after-school programs and at home. Not later than 2 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall brief the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Technology of the Senate on— the web-based aviation resource center established under subsection (a); and the manner in which the education development and engagement activities of the Federal Aviation Administration are organized and funded.
