The Comptroller General of the United States shall submit a report to Congress on the effect of airline mergers for consumers, including passenger fares (including add-on fees), the number of routes, the number of nonstop routes eliminated, and the number of flight delays and cancellations. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall submit a report on the results of the study conducted under subsection
(a)to the following congressional committees: the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate.
