Sec. 626. NextGen Advisory Committee membership expansion

Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall take such actions as may be necessary to expand the membership of the NextGen Advisory Committee chartered by the Secretary on June 15, 2022, and any subsequent chartered committees, to include a representative from the unmanned aircraft system industry and a representative from the powered-lift industry. The representatives required under subsection
(a)shall have the following qualifications, as applicable: Demonstrated expertise in the design, manufacture, and operation of unmanned aircraft systems. Demonstrated experience in the development or implementation of unmanned aircraft systems policies and procedures. Demonstrated commitment to advancing the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system.
