The Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall review and evaluate the final rule titled Remote Identification of Unmanned Aircraft , issued on January 15, 2021, to determine the feasibility and advisability of whether unmanned aircraft manufacturers and operators can meet the intent of such final rule through alternative means of compliance, including through network–based remote identification. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on the results of the study under subsection (a).
