The Administrator may conduct a study to determine the feasibility and economic viability of autonomous or electric-powered track systems that— are located underneath the pavement at an airport; and allow a transport category aircraft to taxi without the use of the main engines of the aircraft. If the Administrator conducts a study under subsection (a), the Administrator shall provide a briefing to the appropriate committees of Congress on the results of such study.
