Sec. 438. Airport service workforce analysis

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall complete a comprehensive review of the domestic airport service workforce and examine the role of, impact on, and importance of such workforce to the aviation economy. Upon completion of the review required under subsection (a), the Comptroller General shall submit to the Secretary a report containing such review. The Secretary may convene a public working group to evaluate and discuss the report under paragraph
(1)containing— the entities the Comptroller General consulted with in carrying out the review under subsection (a); representatives of other relevant Federal agencies; and any other appropriate stakeholder. If the Secretary convenes a working group under paragraph (2), such working group shall terminate on the date that is 1 year after the date on which the working group is convened.
