Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall identify each categorical exclusion under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation, including any operating administration within the Department. Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall— review the categorical exclusions applied by other operating administrations identified in subsection (a); and take such action as may be necessary to adopt, as relevant and appropriate, new categorical exclusions that meet the requirements of section 1508.4 of title 40, Code of Federal Regulations, from among categorical exclusions reviewed by the Secretary in paragraph
(1)for use by the FAA.
