Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any funds reserved under section 312(a)(2) of division M of title III of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 ( Public Law 116–260 ; 134 Stat. 1925) shall remain available through September 30, 2023, and shall be subject to the requirements of section 421(b) of the General Education Provisions Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1225(b) ). Section 2002(a) of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 ( Public Law 117–2 ; 135 Stat. 23) is amended by striking 2023 and inserting 2024 . The amendment made by paragraph
(1)shall be subject to the requirements of section 421(b) of the General Education Provisions Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1225(b) ).
