There is authorized to be appropriated to the Commission such sums as may be necessary for any fiscal year, half of which shall be derived from the applicable account of the House of Representatives, and half of which shall be derived from the contingent fund of the Senate. Amounts made available to the Commission under paragraph
(a)shall remain available until the termination of the Commission. The chair shall promptly notify Congress if the chair determines that the amounts made available to the Commission under subsection
(a)are insufficient for the Commission to carry out its duties.
