Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall submit a report to Congress on the effect of the final rule titled Food Additives Permitted for Direct Addition to Food for Human Consumption; Folic Acid published by the Food and Drug Administration on April 15, 2016 (81 Fed. Reg. 22176), on folic acid intake in the United States population by race and ethnicity, comparing actual exposure with modeled exposure estimates from the final rule.
