Section 17(p)(3) of the Mineral Leasing Act ( 30 U.S.C. 226(p)(3) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: A decision on an application for a permit to drill may not be deferred under paragraph (2)(B) as a result of a formatting issue with the permit, unless such formatting issue results in missing information. .
