Section 874 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( 10 U.S.C. 3204 note) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (2)— by inserting or for after services procured by ; and by inserting or for after may be procured by ; and in paragraph (3)— by striking A qualified business and inserting ; and A qualified business
(A)In general.— by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: Not more than 25 follow-on contracts may be awarded under this section. ; in subsection (e), by striking five years and inserting eight years ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection: Chapter 35 of title 44, United States Code, shall not apply to any action taken under this section or the pilot program established under this section. .
