Section 884 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 ( Public Law 116–92 ; 15 U.S.C. 638 note) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act and inserting Not later than October 1, 2023 ; in subsection (c)— by striking Secretary of Defense may not use and inserting the following: Secretary of Defense— may not use ; in paragraph (1), as so designated, by striking STTR program. and inserting STTR program; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: shall ensure that such program complies with the requirements of a due diligence program established under subsection
(vv)of the Small Business Act ( 15 U.S.C. 638(vv) ). ; and in subsection (f), by striking September 30, 2022 and inserting September 30, 2027 .
