Section 1059 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 631, is further amended— in the heading, by adding at the end; ; lodging expenses by redesignating subsections (k), (l), and
(m)as subsections (m), (n), and (l), respectively; by striking subsection
(k)each place it appears and inserting subsection
(m); and by inserting, after subsection (j), the following new subsection (k): A dependent or former dependent entitled to payment of monthly transitional compensation under this section shall, while receiving payments in accordance with this section, be entitled to lodging expenses for a period not longer than 30 days. .
