Section 101 of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (23), by inserting , or for members of the Space Force in a space force active status (as defined in section 101(e)(1) of title 10), in subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)after (including commissioned officers of the Reserve Corps of the Public Health Service) ; and in paragraph (27)— by striking subparagraph (E); and by redesignating subparagraphs (F), (G), and
(H)as subparagraphs (E), (F), and (G), respectively. Section 1965 of such title is amended— in paragraph (2)(A), by inserting , or by members of the Space Force in a space force active status (as defined in section 101(e)(1) of title 10) but not on sustained duty under section 20105 of title 10, after for Reserves ; and in paragraph (3)(A), by inserting , or for members of the Space Force in a space force active status (as defined in section 101(e)(1) of title 10), after (including commissioned officers of the Reserve Corps of the Public Health Service) . Section 2402(a) of such title is amended in paragraph (2), by inserting any member of the Space Force, after a Reserve component of the Armed Forces, . Section 3011(a)(3)(D) of such title is amended by inserting or for further service in the Space Force in a space force active status not on sustained duty under section 20105 of title 10 after of the Armed Forces, . Section 3311(c)(3) of such title is amended by inserting , or for further service in the Space Force in a space force active status not on sustained duty under section 20105 of title 10, after of the Armed Forces the second place it appears.
