Sec. 1305. Briefing on multi-year plan to fulfill defensive requirements of military forces of Taiwan

Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Director of National Intelligence, shall brief the appropriate congressional committees on the status of the efforts to develop and implement the joint multi-year plan to fulfill defensive requirements of military forces of Taiwan required under section 5506 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( Public Law 117–263 ; 22 U.S.C. 3355 ).
In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate.
