Sec. 1639. Authorization to establish technology transition program for strategic nuclear deterrence

The Commander of Air Force Global Strike Command may, through the use of a partnership intermediary, establish a program— to carry out technology transition, digital engineering projects, and other innovation activities supporting the Air Force nuclear enterprise; and to identify capabilities for the Air Force nuclear enterprise that have the potential to generate life-cycle cost savings and provide data-driven approaches to resource allocation. The program established under subsection
(a)shall terminate on September 30, 2029. In this section, term partnership intermediary has the meaning given that term in section 23(c) of the Stevenson-Wydler Technology Innovation Act of 1980 ( 15 U.S.C. 3715(c) ).
