Section 1213(h) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 ( 10 U.S.C. 2731 note) is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph (1)(A), by striking in this subsection and inserting in this section ; and by amending paragraph
(2)to read as follows: The status of all other pending or denied ex gratia payments or requests, including— when any such request was made; what steps the Department is taking to respond to the request; whether the Department denied any requests for any such payment, along with the reason for such denial; whether any such payment was refused, along with the reason for such refusal, if known; or any other reason for which a payment was not offered or made. .
