Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report with any recommendations for the long-term structure and management of the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), including— an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of OCR’s investigative processes and procedures; any changes made within OCR to its investigative processes to improve the integrity and thoroughness of its investigations; and any recommendations to improve the management structure, investigative process, and oversight of the Office.
