The Secretary of the Air Force shall develop a replacement of the Strategic Automated Command and Control System (SACCS) by not later than the date that the LGM–35A Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile program reaches initial operational capability. The replacement required by subsection
(a)shall— replace the SACCS base processors; replace the SACCS processors at launch control centers; provide internet protocol connectivity for wing-wide command centers of the LGM–35A Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile program; include such other capabilities necessary to address the evolving requirements of the LGM–35A Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile program as the Secretary considers appropriate.
