Section 1638 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( Public Law 117–263 ) is amended by— redesignating subsection
(e)as subsection (f); and inserting after subsection (d), the following new subsection (e): The Secretary of Defense shall— not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, delegate to the Commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command such tasking and oversight authorities, as the Secretary considers necessary, with respect to other components of the Department of Defense participating in the Task Force; and not later than 30 days after the date of such delegation of authority, notify the congressional defense committees of the delegation. .
