Sec. 504. Consultation of Institute activities

In carrying out the duties described in section 503, personnel of the Institute shall— consult widely with representatives from— private industry; labor organizations that primarily represent workers in manufacturing; institutions of higher education, including worker training and credentialing programs; and nonprofit institutions that reflect racial, ethnic, gender, and regional diversity; and to the maximum extent practicable, incorporate information and perspectives derived from consultations under paragraph (1).
